ABBA Voyage opened in London on 27 May 2022 with digital ABBA performers created by Industrial Light & Magic, a live 10-piece band and a purpose-built 3,000-capacity arena. Sound Diplomacy’s December 2025 impact findings report more than 3.5 million visitors since opening and an estimated £2.06 billion in wider UK turnover. Wider economic turnover is not ticket revenue, profit or ROI, and the show is a venue-based digital performance rather than a live remote appearance by the four artists. This Immersive Live brief explains the product pattern and offers an original feasibility framework for rights, production, programming, demand and unit economics that does not borrow Voyage’s figures as your defaults.

What you will learn

  • A residency-style digital concert is a venue product: creative pipeline plus live band plus repeatable operations.
  • Commissioned impact turnover must stay labeled separately from operator revenue and profit.
  • Feasibility for other catalogs needs independent rights, demand and capital analysis—not copied KPIs.

Reported outcome. Sound Diplomacy’s December 2025 assessment reports more than 3.5 million visitors since opening and an estimated £2.06 billion in wider UK turnover.

Wider economic turnover is not ticket revenue, profit or return on investment. This is a venue-based digital performance, not a live remote appearance by the four artists.
